   The WORST Digital Camera I ever owned., May 8, 2014

   I have one still installed… and the colors are so poor add to that pixelation..and you are buying trash. At night, despite a 500W flood … all goes dark and you can not see a thing clearly. My analogs that will get disturbance via Microwave on the other hand are clear night and day, rain or shine. I complained to SWANN as I bought NEW in a SEALED BOX – sealed with SWANN Blue tape.. and they said this:

   This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product only and is not transferable to any third party. Sellers on eBay, craigslist, pawn shops, or 3rd Party reselling sites means the product has been transferred from the original purchaser (which is the seller) to a third party (which is the buyer). Since the warranty is not transferable, the buyer does not obtain the warranty from the original purchaser. If bought from a store and not from an individual at a pawn shop, then the buyer is the original purchaser and the warranty is valid. In your case the pawn shop owner is the original purchaser, and you are now a 3rd party which the warranty is no longer valid since the warranty is not transferable.    Camera is 30ft from receiver And continuously losing signal .Called Swann was on phone quite sometime Told to go camera closer and try again It received signal so place back at 30ft It lasted couple days and now back to losing signal back and forth The camera has a pulse like motion to it when you see someone walking The clarity isn’t that fantastic either It is no where near as excellent as their older model cameras I have There is nothing between camera or receiver I have chose to look for a different manufacturer Also was hoping my older Swann Nighthawk cameras would be compatible with this receiver but they aren’t

   Just what was needed for the job. I just needed a wireless camera that could be easily monitored and this worked fine. I have several other DVR and IP Cams that are excellent but this fit the bill. Simple hook up and runs well.
